What Is YouTube Whitelist?
What does it mean for me to whitelist my channel for YouTube?
Whitelisting is a method of excluding your personal YouTube channel from being monetized by DPM Network Music Distribution if you whitelist your own channel you will not receive any claims from DPM Network Music Distribution and our Partner’s Noremac Media Group/SoundVault. DPM Network Music Distribution will still monetize other people’s videos on YouTube that use your music.
This can be a benefit for artists as they might not want advertising on their own personal channels for example, if you are an Artist and you have licensed your music to a YouTuber channel that regularly uses your music in their videos, you will want to whitelist the channel to avoid claiming their content.
